Who we are 

We are an independent charity, forming part of the worldwide YMCA Movement. Every day we aim to provide a range of services for the community so that people can truly ‘belong, contribute and thrive’

YMCA Leeds strives to transform people’s lives by providing an inspirational journey, which supports and develops individuals, with a focus on young people. We believe that by fulling this vision we can enable people to truly ‘belong, contribute and thrive’

YMCA Leeds is part of a worldwide Christian Movement whose central aim is to enable young people and other members of the community to achieve their full physical, social, cultural and spiritual potential.

What we do

We deliver a wide variety of community learning courses for adults aged 19+.

• Over 300 students enrol on our courses each year.
• We work in partnership with various schools and centres to deliver a local service.
• Our sessions are informal and we welcome all levels and abilities.
• We are an accredited centre with AQA.
