Adult & Community Learning Courses 2021 (19+ years)
ESOL
English language learning for non-native English speakers. Courses improve speaking, listening, reading and writing from Pre-Entry Level to Entry 3. A range of topics including Health and Welfare, Money, Environment, Education, Work, and Digital Skills are covered on the courses. Different modules are delivered each term.

Digital Skills
This short course is for learners who want to learn and develop their basic digital skills. Learners will discover the internet including online shopping, Google maps, transport & emails. The course is tailored around learners so allows for individuals to achieve personal goals.

Sewing
We have various sewing courses for all levels and abilities. Learners will get the chance to work on individual projects while learning new skills each week. Learn how to stitch by hand and also with a sewing machine. Discover different fabrics and materials and work with other learners to find patterns and inexpensive resources online.

Pottery
Want to learn basic pottery skills and techniques? Our courses allow learners to work on individual projects that are chosen by the learner. Discover different techniques to create pots, vases, ornaments etc. and use ceramic painting skills to finish off the item.

Family learning courses are for parents who want to help support their children’s learning and development. Learn how to support your child with reading, Phonics and numeracy. Creative sessions that allow parents to make fun resources to take home and use with the family.
Fitness & Wellbeing
Get Active and have fun while improving your health and wellbeing. Take part in a variety of different activities including Zumba, badminton, netball, dance, power walking and tennis. Learn how to monitor your heart rate and improve your fitness while enjoying yourself and meeting new people.
